About Our Sponsors
We have been grateful to receive a number of donations of both cash and goods. Every donation, no matter how small, helps toward reaching our costs for travel, food and equipment.
In total, we need to raise just over £16000 to cover ultra lightweight equipment, air travel and food whilst we are in Romania. We are already making good progress toward our total, but, every little helps!
We are fundraising by bag-packing, having tables at local table-top sales and car boots, plus in addition we've organised some bigger events which we hope will bring in significant amounts toward the target.
We have already received large cash donations from Rotherham Lions, Dalton Parish Council (Rotherham), The Co-Operative, Smiths Decorators (Maltby) and Yorkshire Windows. A number of companies have donated prizes for various raffles we will run during our fund-raising activities, and other companies have kindly donated equipment and clothing.
